Waunakee Area Historical Society

Come to our 1st Annual Meeting on Thursday, November 19th at 10:30AM at the Waunakee Public Library. It’s Open to the Public.

Librarians from Waunakee Public Library have been scanning local archival photos, articles, booklets, event programs, etc. to the internet and will share a brief (15-20 minutes) presentation on their achievements.

All WAHS members are eligible to vote for the new Board members during the business meeting.

Also:  Light refreshments will be served.

Help Needed: We’re just getting started so we need photos, items from the past, stories, storage space, and a museum space. Please contact us if you can donate any of these items or know of locations for storage or potential museum. We will photos and material if needed.

Our Mission: To collect, preserve, and celebrate the diverse stories, artifacts, and historical records of the Waunakee area to inspire community connection and historical appreciation.
